Lo Pagán & San Pedro Del Pinatar

Located on the Costa Calida, Lo Pagán is a beautiful seaside town boasting a palm tree lined paseo stretching from La Mota Playa, where Molino de Quintin and the famous Las Characas mud baths are situated, to Playa Villananitos.  In addition to the many bars and restaurants along Calle Campomoar during the summer months the beach is also home to chiringuito’s with tasty food and refreshing drinks.

Round the corner from Playa Villananitos is Lo Pagán marina which hosts a large funfair during summer months (check tourism office for exact opening dates) before the beautiful Playa La Puntica spreads out in front of you with the popular Tela Beach Bar and Magallanes bar situated on the edge of the sandy beach providing a beautiful back drop for lunch, dinner and evening fun.

The months of July and August are busy with Spanish families looking for a beach holiday where the gentle waters of The Mar Menor are a firm favourite.  This location is also  popular with water sport aficionados and learners alike, walkers, cyclists and nature enthusiasts making this an ideal destination for those looking for a chilled out beach/pool holiday or those looking for an activity holiday.

Lo Pagán has a weekly market on a Thursday which is situated a 5 minute walk from Aldea Del Sol Baja B.  San Pedro Del Pinatar has a market on a Monday.  There is an Aldi supermarket in San Pedro Del Pinatar and a supermarket located in the Dos Mares shopping centre either a 20 minute cycle away or a 5 minute drive.  Lo Pagán has its’ taxi rank located near the marina where the fair is during summer.  One more town located within walking distance is Santiago de la Ribera which has a daily ferry service to La Manga operated by Solaz Lines providing further areas to explore.
