Aldea Del Sol Baja B recommends Mediterranean Cartagena Tours who run many excursions such as Cartegena, Murcia and various wine tours such as the Jumilla wine tasting tours where you can pick the grapes, crush them with your feet explore the bodega which is fascinating and most enjoyable, not least due to the wine tasting!

Viages Tours run trips to Cartagena including a tour of the popular Licor 43 factory where the national drink is produced, boat trips, and train rides to Los Nietos.  Cartagena itself has an open top tour bus taking in all its’ sights and history.  There are other tours including water parks, Sierra Espuna river rafting and even day trips to Alicante and Benidorm to name but a few.

More locally Aldea Del Sol Baja B is on the border with Santiago de la Ribera  another resort to explore, there are bus rides or taxis that will take you further down the coast to Los Alcazares in one direction for a lovely evening out to experience their restaurants, and bars then along the coast in the opposite direction to Cabo Roig were you can experience a “pub crawl” in bars some with live acts.  Bushwacka in particular showcase amazing talent.  A further 5 minute bus or taxi ride and you can visit the popular La Zenia Boulevard for shopping and beach bars located over the road down to the beach.

For those lucky enough to be In Lo Pagán in winter you can enjoy the sunny beach one day and driving 4 hours for skiing in Sierra Nevada the next with an overnight stop at reasonable prices.
